Terms of Service

How our bookings work, and what both of us commit to.

These terms are written plainly so you can understand what we're promising and what we need from you. No legalese hidden in footnotes.

What we do.

JRM Hotels helps families plan and book trips to hotels that understand frum life. We coordinate with the hotel on your behalf — kashrus, Shabbos, accessibility, dietary needs — so you can focus on the trip itself, not logistics.

When you book through us, you're entering into an agreement with both JRM Hotels and the hotel itself. This page outlines what each party commits to.

Your booking is real.

When you confirm a booking with us, you've committed to the hotel at the price we quoted. The hotel is holding your rooms and preparing for your specific needs. Cancellations after the cancellation deadline (stated in your written quote) forfeit the deposit.

The hotel's cancellation policy applies. Refund timelines depend on the hotel's terms and your payment method. We'll help with any disputes, but the hotel's stated policy governs.

If you need to modify your booking after confirmation, contact us immediately. Changes depend on hotel availability and are subject to the cancellation policy.

We speak for you during planning.

You share your family's details — names, ages, kashrus level, accessibility needs, dietary restrictions, and family context — with us so we can advocate for the right setup. We pass only what the hotel needs to know, and we pass it accurately.

If the information you provided changes before your trip, tell us right away. The hotel relies on what we've shared to coordinate kitchen protocols, room assignments, and Shabbos arrangements.

Intentionally misrepresenting your needs (kashrus standard, party size, accessibility) can result in cancellation without refund, because you've broken the agreement with the hotel.

The hotel delivers on the standard.

We choose hotels that commit to the frum standard you select. If the hotel fails to deliver — kashrus protocols not followed, Shabbos arrangements broken, accessibility accommodations missing — we intervene with the hotel and work with you to remedy it.

Your recourse is with the hotel first (refunds, credits, adjustments are between you and them). If the hotel won't resolve a serious failure, we'll advocate on your behalf. We do not guarantee perfection, but we do guarantee effort.

Disputes about room condition, food quality, or service are handled directly with the hotel. We're here to facilitate, not to guarantee outcomes we don't control.

Payment and taxes.

The price stated in your written quote is what you pay. It may include room fees, booking coordination, taxes, and any applicable service charges. All taxes are the hotel's responsibility to remit — they're not our charge.

Once you approve your quote, we coordinate payment with you directly — by the methods stated in your written confirmation, through JRM or the hotel. There is no self-service checkout on this site. Your payment information is processed securely and not stored on our systems. If a payment doesn't clear, your booking doesn't proceed.

Refunds go back to your original payment method. Timelines depend on your bank and the hotel's refund window — typically 5–10 business days.

Our liability.

We do our best to connect you with the right hotel and to communicate your needs accurately. We are not liable for the hotel's actions, the quality of their service, or circumstances beyond our control (utility failures, staffing emergencies, acts of God).

Our responsibility is limited to our own errors — for example, if we misquote a price or misrepresent what the hotel offers. In that case, we'll work to fix it or refund the difference. We're not responsible for damages to your belongings, injuries, or losses during your stay.

Your responsibility.

You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete. You agree to follow the hotel's rules during your stay. You understand that kashrus and religious accommodations depend on your cooperation — if you break Shabbos in the hotel kitchen or violate agreed-upon protocols, the hotel may have recourse.

Damage to hotel property beyond normal wear is your responsibility. The hotel may charge for breakage, excessive cleaning, or other damages.

Changes and updates.

We may update these terms anytime. Changes apply to new bookings immediately. For existing bookings, the terms in effect when you booked apply. We'll notify you if a change affects an active reservation.

If you don't accept updated terms, you can cancel your booking under the standard cancellation policy.

Questions.

Questions about these terms go to booking@jrmhotels.com. We'll respond within one business day. For disputes, we'll work with you and the hotel to find a resolution.
