The fine print
Concierge booking terms
These terms cover reservations placed through the JRM Concierge at jrmhotels.com/concierge. They supplement our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. How your reservation works
When you place a reservation, the price shown is a guaranteed price in US dollars for the stay you selected. Your payment card is authorized for that amount at the time of reservation; this is a hold, not a charge. Your card is charged only when JRM confirms your reservation, at exactly the authorized amount.
2. If a reservation cannot be confirmed
In the uncommon case that JRM does not confirm a reservation — for example, if the property cannot honor the requested dates — the authorization is released in full and no charge is made. Card issuers typically remove released holds from your statement within a few business days, per the issuer's own timeline. JRM will contact you with alternatives; you are under no obligation to accept them.
3. Prices and currency
Concierge prices are set by JRM, quoted and charged in US dollars, and guaranteed once your reservation is placed. Prices shown apply to the room, dates, and occupancy selected. Hotel incidentals (minibar, spa, phone, and similar) are payable to the hotel directly and are not part of the JRM price. Municipal or governmental levies introduced after booking, where unavoidable, are passed through at cost.
4. Changes and cancellations
Before confirmation, you may cancel at no cost — the hold is simply released. After confirmation, changes and cancellations are handled personally by our concierge; terms depend on the property and the season, and we will always tell you the applicable terms before you commit to a change. For Yom Tov and peak-season stays, properties may apply their own cancellation windows, which we communicate at confirmation.
5. Your details
The contact and preference details you provide are used to arrange and confirm your trip, and are shared with the hotel and service providers only as needed to deliver it. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor; JRM does not store card numbers.
6. The concierge relationship
JRM acts as your booking agent and concierge. The hotel provides the accommodation; JRM provides the arrangement, the guarantee of the quoted price, and personal service before, during, and after the stay.
