Which hotels in Jerusalem are mehadrin?
As of June 2026, the Jerusalem hotels under badatz or mehadrin supervision are: Haneviim Boutique (Badatz Eida HaChareidis), Prima Palace (Badatz Agudat Yisrael), Yirmiyahu 33 (Mehadrin by HaRav Efrati with a Mashgiach Temidi), Jerusalem Gate (Badatz Mehadrin Rabbanut Yerushalayim + OU), Prima Kings and Cassia — formerly the King Solomon (both Glatt Mehadrin under the Jerusalem Rabbinate), and Vert Jerusalem, Hotel Litov, Hotel Lev Yerushalayim, and Ganei Hotel (Rabbanut Mehadrin).
Just as important is which hotels are NOT mehadrin, because older directories get this wrong: the Mamilla Hotel, David Citadel, Waldorf Astoria, King David, Inbal, Dan Jerusalem, Leonardo Plaza, Orient, Herbert Samuel, Theatron, Montefiore, Caesar Premier, and Grand Court all hold the Jerusalem Rabbinate's standard certificate. They are fully kosher hotels — but a family whose rav expects mehadrin or a badatz should book from the first list.
We verified each of these certifications against the hotels' own current kashrus statements and the Rabbanut Yerushalayim listings in June 2026. The complete tiered directory — with Shabbos infrastructure, locations, and price bands for all 23 hotels — lives on our kosher-hotels-in-Jerusalem page, and we re-confirm the standing per booking, because supervision arrangements do change.
